This is a very unconventional way of making pottery. The piece is made using recycled clay that accumulates from my colored clay projects. After a slight wedging of the clay I carve and throw these pieces. Finished with a glossy glaze on the inside to make it water tight. The outside is unglazed to keep the raw texture.
