The pattern was formed from a collection of clay scraps left over from another body of work. After rehydrating the trimmings and reforming them together, a nerikomi pattern emerged. I used that as a the pattern I laid on the clay to throw this vase. Piece is not completely circular or level on the top. It does sit flat.
