Created using a Red clay base. This is my first time using this clay. I created a nerikomi pattern with 5 colors and added it to the base before throwing this vase. Piece is finished in a glossy glaze on the inside to make it water tight. Exterior is unglazed. All colored clays used in this piece are personally handmade in house by me.
Please See the cracks in the pattern on the outside of the piece. They do not go all the way through so it is still water tight.
