This piece was created using 9 different colored clays and a Red clay base. I carved out a design on the base piece of clay and inlayed the design before throwing this vase. Piece is finished unglazed on the exterior to showcase the red clay base but the inside is glazed and water tight. All colored clays are handmade by me in studio.
